What's in a Name?

Why is this blog titled Preciosamama? Why do I have it in my email or website?

Here is the story.

Before I became a mama Fernando's nickname for me was Preciosa. I love it, it is special. Given to me just from him. He could have chosen from a list of loving nicknames to give me and he picked Preciosa.

I love the way it sounds as his voice says it whispered or aloud. It makes me feel special, important, loved.

Then the adaptation from Preciosa to Preciosamama cam along when I gave birth to our baby Evelyn Marie.

I am Preciosa.

I am Mama.

I am Preciosamama.
